You’re probably reading this because you’re struggling to understand what women really want. This is where I was at until very recently. I am a pretty average-looking guy, and I know there’s not much I can do about that, but I have other average-looking friends who always seemed to have far more success with women. I just didn’t get what it was that made them different. Well after a bit of reading and some honest conversations, I managed to unlock some of these secrets. If you want to attract women now, then read on. This knowledge has really turned things around for me and I’m sure it can for you, too.
Secret #1 – Confidence is everything
I never really thought about the importance of confidence, or rather I didn’t understand what it really meant. It’s not about being cocky or arrogant, it’s about being sure of who you are and what you want. I used to slouch and garble my words but even just making sure that I stood up straight, held my head up, and spoke clearly and coherently, has all made a huge difference in terms of both how I feel about myself and how others perceive me. If you’ve got any bad habits in terms of posture or speech, make some small adjustments now for some big rewards later on!
Secret #2 – Be a challenge
Girls are instantly turned off by men who try too hard to please. I found that particularly when I approached beautiful girls, I was in awe of them and I hung on their every word. This is the worst thing I could have done. I thought their rejection was because of my looks but I now believe it was because I was instantly reducing my status in her eyes, by being too available. Remember this motto, excessive flattery will get you nowhere when it comes to approaching beautiful girls.
Secret #3 – Girls want interesting guys
For a while, computer games were my life. I didn’t realize quite how boring this had made me. I had little to talk about when meeting girls and I really struggled to get a date. Then summer came along and I took up surfing, I made some new friends and I got out the house a lot more. Sounds simple, but it really worked for me. Just having more in my life made me feel a lot more fulfilled and it has made it so much easier for me to talk to girls.
Secret #4 – Be positive
If you’re a naturally interesting guy, then good conversation is not hard to come by. You just need to avoid any ‘taboo’ subjects. This would include anything negative, any kind of moaning or bitching and absolutely no put-downs (of either you or the girl). This may sound lame, but I used to practice my conversation skills with my friends. I’d learn what things to say, to really capture people’s attention. The more I practiced, the better I got!
Secret #5 – Have a sense of humor
So my friends told me that women instantly feel more at ease when in the company of a funny guy. I thought I knew some good jokes, but that’s really not what a great sense of humor is about. Any fool can learn a few jokes, but not so many can hold their own and be naturally funny. This is again more about being a great storyteller. It takes practice, but once you can hold a girl’s attention with a great, funny story, you’ll quickly have her hooked.
Secret #6 – Have an opinion
Women are attracted to men who know their own mind. I always shied away from showing an opinion but I now understand that women respect men who are individual and who have an inner confidence and drive. Just make sure you don’t get in any way angry or controversial!
Secret #7 – Understand how to create sexual tension
I said before about how I would often be in awe of girls. Well, if you want to create sexual tension and make yourself really irresistible, then you’re going to have to be a little bit of a tease. Make sure you send some mixed signals when you’re talking to a girl you like.One minute you’re smiling, maybe even touching, and the next minute you’re acting disinterested. The girl is confused about whether you’re into her or not, and that makes the whole scenario so much more exciting.
