Shanghai, China (AHN) – He has been entertaining people across nationalities for years with his exceptional brand of kung fu films and now, legendary actor Jackie Chan is going to be there for posterity in the form of a museum set to open in Shanghai, China.

The museum, called “Jackie Chan World,” will contain memorabilia of the actor, including the costumes and merchandise that the star has used in his movies over the years.

The museum became possible only because of Chan’s generosity, which is reflected in the fact that Chan, who owns seven houses from the Ming and Qing dynasties in Hong Kong, has donated one of the houses to the Shanghai government.

The antiques that Chan has donated so far for the Museum are reported to be worth $100 million.

Speaking about his museum, the Hong Kong-born actor said, “All my props and costumes, I put them there. I want people to go in and see them. I am planning Jackie Chan World. Everything I’ve collected – teacups, cars, rocks, spoons – will go in there.”

Chan who wants to open a school where he wants to give stunt-training to budding actors. In his words, “When I open it, I want to visit twice every week. There is a lot to teach. But the most important thing for a stunt-guy is personality – you have to be humble and happy to learn.”

Tokyo, Japan (AHN) – Japanese carmaker announced Thursday the recall of 2.1 million cars worldwide, including 762,000 trucks and SUVs in the U.S. and Canada, to fix a flaw in electrical systems that may stall engine.

Armadas and Titans made from 2004 to 2006, Infiniti QX56s made from 2005 and 2006, and Nissan Frontiers, Pathfinders and Xterras made from August 2003 and June 2006 are among those to be recalled in the U.S.

Nearly 84,000 Micra and Infiniti models built at Nissan’s Sunderland factory in the U.K. between January 2004 and March 2006 will also be recalled. A total 354,170 cars are being recalled in Europe.

The country with the most number of cars to be recalled is Japan, with 834,759. The models include Cube, Lafesta, March, Note, Serena, Sylphy, Tiida, Tiida-Latio and Wingroad.

The recall in China and Taiwan covers 194,409 vehicles.

A free 20-minute check and fix will be done on all recalled cars, according to Nissan. The electrical relays in the engine control modules will be replaced.

The modules are computers that control engine performance and other essential components of motor vehicles. CNNMoney quoted Nissan as stating that “silicon vapor may form inside the electrical relay that supplies voltage to the engine control module.” The vapor may affect electrical contacts in the relay that may cause the engine to stall even if the car is running at low speeds.

So far, there had been no reports of accidents due to the flaw.
